Hi, my name is Cpl. Kwata D. Osborne. I have been employed with the Gary Police Dept for five years. I am currently assigned to the day turn traffic division and also a field training officer. I previously worked for the Lake County Sheriff’s Office as a correctional officer for 4 ½ years. I was the S.O.R.T. team leader for two of those years. There, I was also a training officer. I love being a law enforcement officer providing service to the community.
